England secures (5) seats in the Champions League next season.

Whoever finishes fifth in the Premier League this season will qualify for next season's Champions League. Possibly Newcastle and Manchester City is on the verge finish 4th or 5th. Luckily both teams need not worry as even the 5th position will be going to the UCL next season.

Was the number of premier League qualifier to champions League increased against next season? Because I always think four numbers are the only ticket for premier League, which means there would be more English teams on the champions League next season, I would have actually like to no why those numbers are different from other leagues because it says here that premier league is the highest while La Liga is the second being four teams and so on. However you are right about Manchester City and Newcastle United because one of them will have the number five to qualified, Brighton could have been there also but this two is certain.
Increased again? How's that happening? EPL is always getting 4 UCL spots any season, and this is their first time to get 5 UCL spot.

They were still sending 4 candidates last season, but 5 for the next season.

As for EPL UCL candidates next season, the gap from 4th to the 9th places are not that big. So many clubs are having chance to qualify for UCL next season. It's still possible for Newcastle and Manchester City won't get UCL spots too.
