Although I think Liverpool are not in any danger (12 points is too much for the remaining 9 games) but from a purely psychological point of view Liverpool are really lucky that there are now national team games. The players can take their minds off two painful defeats in a row and then start all over again. By the way, the first game after the break promises to be exhausting - Everton is a fundamental rival and they have two whole weeks to approach the game with Liverpool in maximum shape.
I agree. Liverpool will have time to chill and gather themselves up. They are now out of every tournament. Therefore there is only one place to focus on, bringing the league trophy home safely. It shouldn't be a very difficult job considering the gap.

No Palmer, no Chelsea. This is what we have seen clearly on the recent weeks. If it wasn't for his illness maybe they could have done more against Arsenal at least.
Like I said earlier, he isn't contributing with G/A for quite a long time. But even his presence changes the team's playing style. When he is absent they play like they have no idea what to do.
