Aston Villa have been really impressive in the Champions League this season. I must admit that they have actually surpassed my expectations so far and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they are able to beat PSG because at the level they are performing in the Champions League I’m confident that Aston Villa are capable of facing any team in the tournament. I really hope they can make a statement against PSG.
I would be surprised if they beat PSG. I know that they have been good and they tried to make it to the quarter-finals, but I don't see them making it to the semis. I rate Emery a lot and I believe he's a top manager, if anyone can do it then it's him but in this case, the quality of PSG is way more than that of Aston Villa. Also, Enrique is not a small coach, he's a good tactician too.
If the match was a single match then Aston Villa will have a better chance because they can defend well and score a goal and qualify but a two-legged tie makes things very difficult for them to qualify. PSG will make it to the semi-finals, but I don't know if they can win Madrid if Madrid qualifies.
I won't be distracted by the progress of Aston Villa in the champions league neither will allow that to motivate me into concluding that they will beat PSG. I believe that none of the opponents they played is as strong as PSG unless at the early stages where most of the teams were not that serious with the champions league yet. So my verdict is that PSG will qualify to the semi-finals, it may not be that they will win Aston Villa both home and at away, they can just draw them at away and beat them at home to get what they want.
