Every greedy gambler that don't want to let go of his losses will live to regret chasing his losses, because he will incur more losses. Self control is very important in any activity that can be habitual to us. Whoever lacks self control over his gambling activities can become addicted easily. We shouldn't gambe to put ourselves into a big problem that'll affect us mentally, instead we should gamble for fun with an amount that you can afford to lose.
This is the only reason for more losses, because gamblers will continue to recover their losses, but the losses will never be recovered, but only more losses will increase. In fact, this type of activity begins because of their attitude, if they had accepted gambling only as entertainment, then this type of addiction would never have happened.

Therefore, maintaining control is very important, someone who lacks control can easily become addicted, which is enough to destroy his life.
But it is not possible for everyone to see gambling as entertainment. No matter how much it is talked about, there will always be people who will see gambling as an avenue to make more money. That not withstanding, wether we see gambling as entertainment or for profit making, we still need that emotional control, so that we will know when to stop having the fun, especially when money is involved for those chasing entertainment. And for those chasing profits, we equally need to know when to stop so we don't blow up our savings. The moment you start hearing that small voice that keep telling you, try one more time and recover, when you are losing. Just know it's your emotion speaking to you. Don't listen to that voice, especially when you have exceeded your budget for the day. One effective way to controlling your emotions is to go to the casino with only money you intend gambling with. Don't go with extra money.
