Last week and this weekend is a treble week for Liverpool football club,  beacuse they just crashed out of the champions league competition over the week by losing in a penalty shootout against the German club PSG and today again they've lost the EFL trophy to Newcastle United. does this signal Liverpool a decline in their form, because I wasn't really expecting Newcastle to defeat Liverpool on a normal 90 minutes game without them going into penalty shootout. Big accolades to Newcastle United for this achievement.
Very terrible week it was for the Premier leaders, I thought after a poor and bad midweek for them in the Champions League they would come out stronger to win this for their fans as consolidation. But Newcastle has something else up their sleeves for Liverpool. I have always seen Newcastle as one unserious team but they proved me wrong yesterday by winning the EFL cup finals against a team they even hardly win on a normal day. Big congratulations to Newcastle I must say.
Liverpool was just terrible on the field,  they were not organised and  it cost them, Liverpool dream of the terrible ended in just a week, knocking out by psg in the champions league and been humiliated by Newcastle on Sunday at the final. Newcastle was underdog but came out as champions, they really deserved the cup, after over 50 year. Liverpool has to focus on the Premier League title now, since the trible dreams has fade away. They have to do everything not to bottle the league to Arsenal by winning games till the end of the season.  If its that possible, they still have top team to play in the league, I believe they have a stronger team to scale through.
