In today match, I initially thought Manchester City could win and save 3 points in full because after leading with score of 2 - 1 they were still able to create some good opportunities, it was really unlucky that there was mistake and Brighton got 1 additional goal which made the score draw 2 - 2.
Even when until the end of the season Manchester City cannot surpass Chelsea and also Nottingham Forest then it is really very bad results after they have been able to perform impressively for the past few season, and today if Chelsea can have good playing pattern it can still make them get draw and share points with Arsenal.
The results that I have predicted before, you don't need to believe in Man City even though they are playing at home, now it's different. We see the statistics against Brighton, both teams played a draw even though in ball possession Man City was slightly superior but ball possession alone is not enough if not sharp in attack. Man City is currently like a midtable team that has difficulty breaking into the top 4, on the other hand this result is an opportunity for Chelsea to maintain its current position. I think if Man City continues like this, there is a possibility that its place will be taken over by Brighton and Newcastle.
But if there is no mistake made by Khusanov then Manchester City can still maintain their lead and win, seeing Manchester City game they have every sharp and dangerous attack but we can also see that Brighton is still trying to keep up with Manchester City game.
And Chelsea was unable to beat or even draw against Arsenal, with Chelsea lost it can help Manchester City to have 1 point difference and so they can reclaim 4th position more quickly.
