Very terrible week it was for the Premier leaders, I thought after a poor and bad midweek for them in the Champions League they would come out stronger to win this for their fans as consolidation. But Newcastle has something else up their sleeves for Liverpool. I have always seen Newcastle as one unserious team but they proved me wrong yesterday by winning the EFL cup finals against a team they even hardly win on a normal day. Big congratulations to Newcastle I must say.
It’s a very terrible week for Liverpool, Just in the space of a week they have shattered their hope of winning the treble, the fans must be disappointed after believing they could win the treble and then all hope was lost and they bottled two cups in a space of a week in back to back matches. We all thought after losing to PSG they would console themselves and the fans with the Carabao Cup but it turned out that Newcastle came very prepared and didn’t give them the chance.
I think you don’t know Newcastle well enough if not you wouldn’t think they are unserious team, they are one of the strongest teams when it comes to playing against the top teams so I expected them to make the game difficult for Liverpool but I didn’t think they could end up winning the game. Big congratulations to Newcastle on winning this season Carabao cup, the fans would be proud.
