I don't think Atletico Madrid can make it with the league trophy again especially if Barcelona win it's outstanding match. This will make the point difference to become 7. Atletico Madrid still have some big matching and what gives the assurance they win all this matches.
In fact, Atletico had a great opportunity to enliven the title race, but due to being unable to maintain their lead when facing Barcelona, they now have to be satisfied with being in third place. Barcelona also has a big opportunity to widen the gap to 7 points with Atletico and 3 points from Real Madrid if they can win the remaining game vs Osasuna. The defeat from Barcelona last weekend was the end of everything for Atletico Madrid and it also proved the real quality of Atletico Madrid even though now Atletico Madrid is only 4 points behind Barcelona but Barcelona still has 1 game left so it is possible that the points difference will be 7 points so it will be quite difficult for Atletico Madrid especially Barcelona and Real Madrid are quite consistent.
I can't rule out Athletico from the title race, because they still have some good number of matches to play which they can still close the points gap. However, their chances of winning the league is very slim because Madrid and Barcelona is always ahead of them. If Barcelona win most of the rest of their matches, Madrid wouldn't be able to defend the title.
