Yes, bitcoin was created to eliminate intermediaries in our transactions, but I think the step you are taking to show us that you know what bitcoin is all about and teaching us about bitcoin is wrong, and I think it will not help you know what is really going on in this thread. Even though you have gained bitcoin knowledge elsewhere before registering on this forum, you should be more concerned with learning than teaching so that it will help you to understand bitcoin better. In this thread we are not mainly concerned about what bitcoin is all about, but we are focused on investing in bitcoin and holding it for the long term, so I will advise you to focus more on reading posts from this thread so that you will know the proper way to invest in bitcoin and hold it for the long term.

How do you invest on what you don't know, most people in this thread don't know what is bitcoin so if they are not taught or educated they will find still find it difficult to invest because they don't have any idea of bitcoin and holding it for long term, their is a good reason an individual should know or have idea of what you want to do

I doubt if there is anyone in this thread that doesn't know what Bitcoin is , there is a difference between knowing Bitcoin and understanding what Bitcoin is and how it works, if you have heard someone talking about Bitcoin, saying that Bitcoin is a coin and one can invest in it, it means you have already know Bitcoin because you have heard about it but understanding how it works and how to accumulate it is another thing also. These people who have heard about it, should then ask questions how it works so that can know how to go about it because it is wrong to venture into it only by hearing someone talking about it without looking out for the basic knowledge behind it and alot of people do make mistake because they feel they have known and understand everything by just hearing about Bitcoin.

I humbly agreed with you because there is this saying that said my people perish because of lack of knowledge, and they say knowledge is power it is not by mistake, so if you have been hearing about Bitcoin for long time now, there is a room for you to know basic knowledge on how Bitcoin works and you can't say that since i have heard and know what Bitcoin is, and you you to invest on Bitcoin and you don't know how it works you will surely lose your money, you can't practice what don't know about, but once you see some one who can guide on how to invest on Bitcoin and hodl on a long term should be the best option, we learn everyday because what could be difficult for me will not be difficult for you and what is difficult for you will not be difficult for me to explain to your understanding, sometime there is always a room to ask questions on what you don't about. so buying your Bitcoin dips and hodl in long term is the best option them having the mindsets of selling selling as a newbie.

While I sympathize with your idea, I can't help but wonder how this works for a newbie, if a newbie decides to wait for a bitcoin DIP before investing and it doesn't happen for a long period of time, that means the person will have to wait for very long, waiting isn't fun for a newbie and it could lead to complete loss of interest in bitcoin investment entirely, my advise would be for a newbie to invest in bitcoin using discretionary income on a weekly or monthly basis depending on how much income they make rather than waiting for a DIP, this way, they can accumulate a reasonable amount of over a few months or years depending on their investment plans, and after accumulating enough bitcoin, they can start buying the DIP and HODL
