Unless it is a technical matter that will take time to be implemented, withdrawals should be allowed even if the account is disabled. That would allow the OP to do whatever he wanted with his funds as long he did not place bets at Sportsbet.
Blocking withdrawals unless they have been requested via email seems an unnecessary process.
I guess once the player requests a self exclusion sites are obligated to honor this request instantly. If they waited any longer ( for the player to withdraw ) he or she might play more
I think you're missing the point: obviously gambling should be disabled instantly, but I see no reason to block withdrawals.
