There was a time when we all pray for Bitcoin to be accepted, to stop being attack by governments, and to reach new heights. Back then, we wanted:
1. Government to stop fighting Bitcoin: Today we have Bitcoin presidents (Bukele and Trump)
2. Bitcoin to be legalized: Today bitcoin is a legal tender in El Salvador.
3. Bitcoin to be recognize by institutions: Today, we have Bitcoin ETF and even USA is keeping Bitcoin reserve.
4. Bitcoin to reach new all time high → Now, Bitcoin have pass $100,000.
Everything we wished for is happening, yet many people still find reason to complain. Some say, “Bitcoin is too expensive now” or “Institutions are ruining it”. But was mass adoption not always the goal?
Are we just naturally never satisfied, or is there something else?
To be honest, our hope for Vitk Coen was that today he has become a lot of reality. The goals we wanted one time are now present in front of us. But the truth is, as if something has progressed, some people find dissatisfaction. It’s probably part of human real attitude that success earned for many of us never seems enough. We always hope to get something bigger. No matter how much bitcoin and cryptocurrency prices increase, we want to see more high-level. To be honest, no one can ever be satisfied whether we can’t say correctly because people want more than they get.
Economics told us that human wants are insatiable so no matter the level progress the Bitcoin project have made over the years, you should still expect people to desire for more growth especially in the price of Bitcoin. Apart from the insatiable nature of man, you should also not forget that many Bitcoin investors came into the market as recent as three or four months ago with the hope that by now, the price must have surpassed the current ATH but unfortunately, that's not the case which is why they're worried.
That said, I don't there's any cause for alarm because we're still waiting for the much anticipated bull run and I strongly believe that when it finally kicks off, Bitcoiners will surely be satisfied.
