Whatever you say, it still doesn't change the FACT that Peter Schiff, although he's doesn't like Bitcoin, is still a person who has better insights and more knowledge in topics such as Economics and Finance than many of the posters in BitcoinTalk, including me.

 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's a place to criticize and laugh at him though. But to think that a person, any person, is stupid merely because he/she doesn't like Bitcoin? Laughable.

Who says he's stupid? On the contrary, as I already wrote, he very skillfully uses BTC to draw attention to himself and his business and convince people to invest in gold, not in BTC. Disliking something and using it to influence public opinion for your own profit are two completely different things.

It's your personal matter that you think you can learn something from such people, but it's people like him who create a very ugly image when it comes to Bitcoin, which in turn was created as an idea to resist the system that Peter defends so fiercely.

But does it truly create a "very ugly image" when it comes to Bitcoin? Or should it actually matter? Roll Eyes

The Honey Badger doesn't care. The network keeps chugging along, producing block after block no matter how "UGLY" its image is or no matter what people call it.

What matters is it's a proven asset of a new asset class, and if plebs like us truly understood how Bitcoin fundamentally works, its incentive structure, its potential, then we shouldn't be affected by his opinions about Bitcoin. In fact, it's merely laughable. Priceless.
