Both Man City and Chelsea for me are on the same level and Man City had a really good chance that they didnt take against Brighton. They should have won that but this season they are just not on that level as they were. On the other hand it was expected that Chelsea wouldnt do something big,with Palmer out of form its hard for Chelsea to get points
Yeah I agree, throughout this season we couldn't expect more from these two teams because we don't see any consistency there and in the near future Newcastle might just displace them from their current position. Newcastle are only 1-2 points behind and they have one more game to play if Newcastle win their 29th match they will be in the top 4 who do you think deserves a ticket to the Champions League among these 3 teams? I personally would have preferred to see Manchester City but their performance was really unconvincing.
Don't be surprise that manchester city will recover from thier form after this break, and of course manchester city is supposed to be in the top 4 of the table if not for there poor performance. But I think they still have the chance to make it up to the top 4 because the point differences isn't that much just a difference of 1 point, chelsea in the other side is not also in a good performance. So I think the performance of this 3 teams after this break will determine who will qualify for champions league next season.
