We need to realize how small the chance Leverkusen has right now, and can't beat Bayern to the title. And maybe we should just stop requesting or demanding them to do that too, why would they be any better, makes no sense. Look at the difference between Leverkusen, Dortmund, Frankfurt or any other big team in Bundesliga, and look at how much Bayern is paying for players, both for transfers and for salary. That should tell you the difference. This is why we can't really move further.
Even though the remaining chances are very small, Leverkusen must remain optimistic, the competition is not over yet, anything can still happen in the remaining 8 matches. Munich is still able to dominate until Jornada 26, other teams may have given up in the title race, but Leverkusen must be able to maintain their chances even though they are unable to finish in first place, at least they have fought.
At least for now their gap is 6 points which is clearly quite good with 8 matches left so their chances are still there for now especially since Leverkusen's focus is definitely only on the Bundesliga now after they were eliminated from the Champions League stage.
This is quite an interesting thing to wait for because even though Bayern is still quite dominant but now their focus is still divided with the Champions League which could be a higher priority later which will create conditions that are advantageous for Leverkusen.
For now, Bayern still has the momentum but with a difference of 6 points now and a match schedule of 8 matches remaining then the chances are still there even though it is a bit complicated but as long as they can still be consistent then the chances to maintain momentum while hoping Bayern falls can still happen.
