I think nobody can really tell how many points Manchester United will be able to take in their remaining matches in the Premier League, but if there is a positive change in Manchester United's pattern of play and they win more of their remaining matches in the Premier League, they will surely finish in the top 10 in the Premier League table. Nottingham Forest is more consistent than Manchester City in the Premier League, so I see Nottingham Forest as the only tough challenge for Manchester United in their next two matches in the league, but with the late improvements that Manchester United has shown, there's a chance for them to get a positive result against Nottingham Forest if they maintain the same performance they've shown against Arsenal, Real Sociedad, and Leicester City.
Top 10, really?
Since when top 10, bottom of top 10 is a success for Manchester United?
With a position in top ten, like 10th, 9th, 8th position, they won't get any slot to UEFA leagues next season, that's failure, not success, and it's unacceptable. They have to finish this season in top six to at least appear in UEFA Conference League that I think is not interesting with them. They will try to play and win UEFA Europa League and this will help them eligible for UEFA Champions League next season. Because in Premier League, they have no way to end with high position that is eligible for Europa League.
You are getting everything all wrong; this is not a matter of when finishing in the top 10 in the Premier League table is a success for Manchester United. Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as Manchester United head coach, Manchester United has been struggling to play competitively in the Premier League and even struggled to finish in the top 4 in the Premier League table. This season Manchester United was almost down to the relegation zone if not for Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Southampton failing to win most of their matches, which helped Manchester United to stay above the relegation zone. Football has changed, and only those clubs that change with model football can finish in a good position. If Manchester United wants to represent England in the UEFA Champions League competition, they should up their game and start winning their matches in the Premier League. You don't expect them to finish in the top 4 in the Premier League table when they are losing their matches almost all the week.
