Both Man City and Chelsea for me are on the same level and Man City had a really good chance that they didnt take against Brighton. They should have won that but this season they are just not on that level as they were. On the other hand it was expected that Chelsea wouldnt do something big,with Palmer out of form its hard for Chelsea to get points
I don't think Manchester City and Chelsea are on the same level. Manchester City's defense is just poor this season; they conceded lots of goals and failed to prevent their opponents from scoring, which is why they lost an important point; otherwise, they have strong finishers who can convert chances into goals. If a team's defense is weak, it will be difficult for them to win games, regardless of how many goals they score.
Chelsea, on the other hand, look weak since their attackers have failed to convert chances into goals in the past few games. The Chelsea manager relied on Palmer as if they weren't going to play many games this season, and it's obvious they can't survive when Palmer is out of form. If he had given other midfielders opportunities earlier in the season, they wouldn't have been struggling to score with Palmer out of form.
