They were doing it manually in order to save moneys. TheQuin had stated the reason in the
same post for doing it all in manual system. Freebitco team have to pay more than ten thousand dollars each month to the third party for the automated betting process. They weren't adding a lot of betting markets. So, it was easy for TheQuin to take care of the betting section manually. Which helped them to save moneys.
It's weird. I mean, the Freebitcoin team's decision to save money on things that could potentially bring them more profit in the long run is unexpected. This is clearly not what you would expect from a project with a multi-million audience that has previously held various lotteries worth tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In that case, what if they decided not to hold the Lambo lottery round 11 drawing to save money as well?

As I understand, the owner is an early Bitcoin adopter who came up with the right idea at the right time. His project succeeded but instead of improving the website and adding new things, he decided to not expand and keep the website running in its original form with only slight additions like betting and WoF spins. For me, it was okay that Freebitco decided to keep old style because Bustabit did the same and they are still doing very well but Freebitco's owner made a huge mistake when he decided to acquire FUN tokens. This was a huge mistake because there was a big expectation from the community and the owner failed to properly market that event. Soon, the price of FUN token went down and has been steadily going down since then. Then the owner abandoned the website 1 year ago when lots of people started complaining in their threads.
To sum up, the owner miserably failed.
