Napoli lost yet another chance to close up the gap from Inter Milan in the title race in the weekend. Recording a goaless draw on Sunday against Venezia threw away the opportunity to go 63 points which has given Inter Milan 3 points advantage in the race while Bologna’s victory over Lazio moves them to 4th place ahead of Juventus in the race for champions league qualification.
For the competition, several teams are quite fierce to be able to finish in the top 4, even 4 to 5 teams still have the opportunity to finish in the top 4, especially several teams that cannot maintain their consistency, making the competition much fiercer.
If Napoli had not loaned Viktor Osimhen to Galatasaray at the beginning of the season and had not sold Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG in the middle of the season, I am sure Napoli would have achieved more consistent results in every match and perhaps would never have been shifted from the top of the standings.
