Storing seeds in google drive? Man that is the most stupidish idiotic things I have heard so far. It is the fastest route to lose everything and being homeless, LOL. My deep condolences to those who keeps their seeds on apps like google drives and such...
As a matter of fact, if it's in the cloud, there is always a possibility that it can be hacked or compromised. Even a newbie would know that. People should just use a pen and paper. If anyone needs additional security measures they better use a
Crypto steel capsule for securing seeds phrases, or a good hardware wallet. Imho, keeping the seeds phrase in online places is not worth the risks.
For myself, I kept kept everything in a secure offline place, where I'm positive nothing bad will happen.
I think that no matter where people store their private keys or passwords, be it offline or be it online, there will always be a risk factor in both places.
It's not like that the private key you store in offline can't be leak. Yes, it's true that there's a higher chance of falling into the trap of hackers if you're online, but even offline, there's a chance that your physical note has fallen into someone's hands and they're transferring funds from there.
And to avoid this, always add some additional words or leave some words out of your passwords that you can memorize. I do these things in my case.
