If Leverkusen can play their best performance in every match the way they have done so far, then they might be able to compete with Bayern Munich. Leverkusen will face Bochum in their next match and we can say for sure that Leverkusen will win easily in this match. And if they can collect three points by winning this match, then they will be able to get close to Bayern Munich in the points table. Moreover, since Bayern Munich is currently in the first position of the points table with 62 points, and Leverkusen has 56 points, there is only a six-point gap between the two teams at the moment. If Leverkusen wins the next match, there will be a 3-point gap, and there may be a more exciting fight in the Bundesliga from next week.
Of course if they can be consistent enough then their is a chance to compete with Bayern Munich but that will be if Bayern Munich stops being consistent and drop in performance which I think is very unlikely to happen. Bayern Munich looks to have their eye set on the title already and the points gap is really a bit too much to easily overcome. They have to pray for Munich to lose and they also have to keep winning if they want to get closer. The challenge is still on and I think it will be till the end of the season before we can finally say it is over.
Bayer Leverkusen will continue to do everything possible to see that they become a threat to Bayern Munich in this league this season again, we have been saying that Bayer Leverkusen can not catch up this season in terms of point, But after some match they only have 6 points gap in between them currently.
I just hope they succeed In stopping Bayern Munich from winning the title but it seems there is still hope for them but the question is can they maintain consistency till the end?
