That's exactly what I've previously mentioned in a few replies. If our goal is to simply bypass our country's ISP restrictions, a private DNS is enough; thus, a VPN is not necessary, unless we're talking about privacy concerns, in which I find a little overexaggeration, but whatever floats your boat. I've been personally using it with no issues for over the last two years in several different casinos. I particularly don't see a necessity for a VPN; free ones also have a risk of sharing the same IP with someone else. It's a low possibility, but it may happen.
