If Atletico Madrid can improve their consistency in the La Liga title race, then they still have a chance to win the title this season. Atletico Madrid have been eliminated from the Champions League this season, so I think La Liga should be Atletico Madrid's main focus right now, so that they can at least win one trophy at the end of this season. And on the other hand, if you look at the points difference between Atletico Madrid and the 2 teams above them, it seems like Atletico Madrid can still catch up.
Athletico Madrid still have a shot but at this point I don't think anyone will.want to lose a point because they know they are in important period so they will take everything seriously so its going to be hard for any changes to be made and the only people I see that have more advances to be able to win is not more than real Madrid this is something they love doing. And the fact that athletico Madrid have been eliminated in the Champions league the only thing they have hope on now is not more than the la Liga and there is lesser hope there because if anything should happen to Madrid and the Barcelona they will fall back to base, which is the la Liga. The point the three of them have is something that can change anything.
And in another competition, namely the Copa Del Rey, Atletico Madrid are actually quite close to winning the trophy this season, but unfortunately to be able to qualify for the final, somehow Atletico Madrid must be able to beat Barcelona in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey semifinals. And if they do qualify for the final, Atletico will most likely meet Real Madrid. This is a really difficult journey for Diego Simeone and the team to be able to win the trophy this season. So far Atletico Madrid has only been a shadow for Barcelona and Real Madrid in the hunt for trophies this season.
If not that the players have interest and passion for play its going to very depressing but they hardly have breaks and the management expects you to bring something home, and the case of athletico Madrid people don't really give attention to them compare to the two rivals and this started a long time ago, athletico Madrid jumping inside the picture, either they win or not people don't want to care because Madrid and Barcelona have a larger fan base than them. And if it gets to a point were they have to play against real Madrid then, for use they should just forget about winning because they will not be able to compete against real Madrid we know were everyone stands, and I know who is going is to win. And I would love Madrid to actually win.
