I doubt if Manchester City can successfully snatch the 4th position with the teams that are in the same race for the 4th spot.
I know that you will agree to the 4th spot of the Premier League table is not only between Chelsea and Manchester City. The teams below Manchester City(Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham and Aston Villa) are in the same race for 4th position. Any loss match from Chelsea or Manchester City, it can happen that Newcastle or Brighton wins their own match, they will come above Manchester City or Chelsea in the 4th place. However, the 4th position is not guaranteed or certain for any club to step on, at the end of season
Yeah that's right, if we look at it lately Brighton has been quite impressive in every match and become the most consistent team in the last month apart from Liverpool of course meaning Brighton have the potential to take a place in the top 4 but yeah there are still some games left in the Premier League so we have to wait until the last match. I honestly can't imagine if Manchester City fails to get a ticket to the Champions League because Manchester City were the EPL champions last season.
