Liverpool seems willing to drop Salah out from the club. They're now seeking for a new replacement for him, and already identified Rodrygo as one with most potential to replace Salah. The only problem is that i don't even think Real Madrid is keen in selling Rodrygo to the Liverpool.

It would have made more sense for them to move for a new signing after convincing Salah to sign a short-term contract. They are taking a very risky step with this move. Liverpool will finish this season as champions but next season they might not be in the same comfort zone. I don't think they planned very well, but with better planning they could have dominated the league for a few more seasons...
Are Liverpool willing to spend more money on Salah with short-term contract, if they are willing of course not just short-term contract but in the longer term for several seasons because Salah can still play very well, no one knows what the real purpose of all this is whether it is related to regeneration or saving money.
About Rodrygo himself, apart from Real Madrid not being able to sell him, it can also be ascertained that Rodrygo personally is unlikely to want to leave Real Madrid just to join Liverpool, Rodrygo is still very young and he understands how great the potential is if he continues to play with Real Madrid so leaving Real Madrid would be the same as walking away from the many championship title that can be owned.
