Did I make a mistake by sending an email to close my account before withdrawing my money? Of course. But I didn’t expect them to respond within 5 minutes, close the account immediately without a 24-hour period, and then stop responding to emails without paying out the money.
If you ask me, their quick response when you request that your account be closed is quite good. Also, if they wait for 24 hours before closing an account they could get an accusation of ignoring the gambler's request of self-exclusion. they could also be blamed by the gambler for losing more money because the gambler decided to deposit and lose within that 24 hours.
