The absence of two attacking creators has made it difficult for Man City to retain their title and they are now fighting for a top four finish. In my opinion, it is not difficult for them to achieve this target, especially since they are currently only one point behind Chelsea.
I know that injuries contributed to City's poor season, but i don't think that is the only reason because the drop in form is just so much. City have been at a very high level in the last 7 or 8 eights, thus a season like this was expected, one in which they will struggle and drop form so much, that even little things will keep going against them; and that is what has happened all season long.
I cannot be so confident that City will make top four, they are so inconsistent, and the gap between them and the teams below them is so small, if they don't start winning consistently, they wouldn't even finish in the top 5 or 6.
