For example an investor can still be buying using the dca while accumulating a large amount during the dip doesn’t necessary mean they waited for the dip but, I get what you’re trying to point out, so far it’s obvious investing is a contionious practice even after getting to the target plan like the veteran you mentioned, if considering waiting probably the reason must worth the wait like lack of funds etc also I agree with the point newbies should focus less on the market rather buy using the dca although the dca strategy is so popular for newbies definitely it gives room for a good management plan.
