Liverpool's failure in the UCL seems to be a bit advantageous. This condition can make Liverpool fully concentrate on the EPL. Currently, Liverpool has a difference of 12 points with Arsenal. Although Arsenal still has a chance to continue in the UCL, it will make Arsenal a little more tired. So Liverpool should be the best candidate for the EPL champion this season. As for Aston Villa, they seem unable to compete well in the EPL. They are out of the top 5 warnings right now.
That is what you think but I doubt if that is what Liverpool wants and the champions league is not a distraction because they were already topping the champions league table even before they were knock out by PSG so even if they where still in the champions league they would have still do better and for Arsenal, they are lucky to still be in the champions league race and if they played well, they might likely qualify for semi finals and already the bookmakers has pick Arsenal as the favorite but that doesn't mean or guarantee that Arsenal is going to win and Aston villa is acting like they are not serious but they are really doing well and it is going to be a tough one for PSG.
