It's not about bravery, that's my opinion. It is rather about having the adequate knowledge that is required to manage, build and secure your Bitcoin portfolio, some people don't understand anything serious about Bitcoin, what they want is to continually make profit when the price is pumping,  that's why you see so many people investing in Bitcoin because of FOMO and when price starts to go against their target, they will start to panic, some guys around even sold when price dipped down below $80, 000, they were scared that the price will continue to dip until it reached $60, 000 but they never understand that the volatility of the market can not be predictable always. It is always profitable to have enough knowledge of Bitcoin investment like experts who ceases the opportunity of bearish trend to feed more Bitcoin to their portfolio.
