Well buying at the dip and also investing in the DCA strategy accordingly can be combined but it kind of essential to understand the importance of each approach
If you buy the dip, you're already considered investing. So, whether you DCA or simply buy the dip, there is not a lot of difference and even can be said of the same thing.
Don't get it twisted, there will be a big difference in the size of bitcoin be between an investor buying regularly, persistently and consistently with DCA for 4-10 years and above compared to an investor who only buys at the dip. Buying at the dip is not the best strategy for anyone to think of using in accumulating bitcoin, especially a new beginner or someone with little bitcoin in his possession.

Waiting isn't a good concept to increase your bitcoin portfolio in a fast pace which should be our major priority and focus because the price of bitcoin waits for no one. When you are busy waiting for the dip that you don't know if it will come or not, you missing a lot of opportunities in the market that you could have uses to buy and increase your bitcoin stash to a certain level.

Time waits for no one, bitcoin price waits for no one because it increases simultaneously with time. Therefore, why do you choose to wait for nothing when you know that you can invest constantly every week with as little as $10 from your discretionary income without a problem. Time wasted, is time lost and cannot be recovered.

There have been quite a few guys who came to the forum in the past 2-3 years, and those who seriously got started into buying as much BTC as they could would have had done much better than those guys who sat around waiting, or thinking about BTC while failing/refusing to take action to get started in their regularly buying of BTC.

It is not easy to buy as the BTC price is going up, yet guys who started buying BTC 3 years ago would have experienced both the downward price movements of 2022 and also the low period of late 2022, and then pretty much ever since late 2022, the BTC price has been going up..

Yeah, we have a bit of a correction right now from our $109k January top, yet guys who had been continuing to buy through the whole period seem to be creating a decently good starting bitcoin base for themselves.  Even the guy who started investing around $100 per week over the past 3 years would have had invested close to $16k, yet he would also have close to 0.5 BTC, which surely guys are going to be happy to have had been able to make such BTC accumulation progress based on their budget.. and yeah some guys can invest more than others in terms of the quantity of their discretionary income and even if from time to time, they might also come across extra cash that they are able to put into bitcoin and to help them in their BTC accumulation progress.
