The fans would love the idea as well but I still can't trust these sources completely... Normally I was also hoping to see his jubilee at Barcelona instead of his childhood team Newell's Old Boys or somewhere else. Watching him side by side with Yamal for some games sounds quite interesting. But probably this will stay as a rumour only. I feel like he will end his career in the USA. He already owns the MLS.
Well it is still an rumours about Lionel Messi re signing with Barcelona next season of 2026 it is circulating, according to the sport news on TNT sport Barcelona is indeed trying to bring back Messi back to the club the 2026 FIFA world cup final, well checking Barcelona financial capabilities in their current situation and also his current ages the last I checked Messi will be at least 39 years old next 2026 and his wages is pending on maybe him coming back to Barcelona.
I don't think it looks real. Messi Returning to Barcelona is almost impossible because of his age, and as well Mesii also expressed his opinion that currently he is very comfortable in MLS, like he is enjoying the football in Inter Miami and after that he would love to play for his childhood club (New boys). So if he has said that he wants to go to his childhood club, then it is certain that he does not want to come to Barcelona again. Let me tell you that if Messi had come to Barcelona, he would have come to Barcelona immediately after leaving PSG, but I think he does not want to come to Barcelona now, so his coming is impossible now. And yes, if this news is true, then we are welcoming Messi to Barcelona.
