If you install any application, it must be a famous and legit application from a big company, but again don't search for it in Google Play or Apple Store. Visit an official website and get a link to download application.
With devices on which you store your Bitcoin or cryptocurrency wallet, don't install unnecessary applications and try to avoid application installations as most as possible. It reduces risk on that device and can help securing your wallets better. Remember those wallets are hot wallets that are not places to store your big fund, and hot wallets can be compromised easily so afford to lose your fund.
