Re: Is the Charity of the Wealthy Just a Publicity Stunt?

Even the wealthy can't escape their craving for attention, and charity is their most "cost-effective" tool. After all, a donation leads to endless media exposure, and their public image skyrockets. On the other hand, it is precisely because of these celebrity stunts that the public’s focus is drawn to distant social issues.

I think that even if famous companies and foundations pay attention to the problems of society or, for example, ethology, it still doesn't change much globally. And in general, they always do charity work only because it gives tax breaks to these foundations or organizations. However, not everyone donates money to a good cause only for selfish purposes.
I believe that among actors and musicians there are people who have received a lot of money, and at the same time they themselves know the problems of the modern world and they donate money from the bottom of their hearts, and not because their accountant said that it is more profitable than paying taxes.
