Manchester City seems favorite to qualify for the UCL tournament this season because I don't understand what Chelsea is doing in 4th position when they can not hold their ground. However both teams are losing points and failing woefully to stand their ground and compete for the top four. The Citizens manager, Pep Guardiola is optimistic about his club qualifying for the UCL tournament next season, can we say the same for the Blues? Enzo Maresca is mediocre coach, we've all affirm this fact. Chelsea are not supposed to be in this zone because they got everything to compete for the EPL title but what did the coach do? He was reluctant and denied every fact about the club ambition to win the league.
Yes Manchester City seems to be team most likely to get into UEFA Champions League tournament this season. Chelsea on the other hand is not doing as well as they should be and it is surprising to see them in 4th place when they have potential to do better. Both teams have been losing points and having trouble staying in top four. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is feeling good about his team chances of getting into Champions League next season. But Chelsea situation is not clear mainly because their coach Enzo Maresca is not doing great job. Chelsea has money and talented players to compete for English Premier League title but their coach does not seem to want to admit that team wants to win and that is holding them back.
Not only Chelsea, but Brighton and Newcastle must also be taken into account because the small point difference allows the 4 teams to compete fiercely to finish in the final 4th position of the standings.
Regarding Manchester City, I think it is not excessive because so far Manchester City has not managed to show its best performance and they have not been able to maintain consistency and the same thing is also true with Chelsea so that all possibilities are still possible for several teams to be able to get tickets to the Champion League next season and I think Manchester City's chances are not that big compared to Chelsea, Brighton and Newcastle.
