We were all surprised seeing them reach that stage in the Champions League but I think it was because they haven’t faced a very strong team yet. Their performance this season is not so good but reaching this stage is what surprised us all because we didn’t expect to see them go far so it is a great achievement for them as the competition is getting familiarized with them.
I also think this is the end of the road for them because PSG is a strong team that they will find difficult to win but at least I know they will put up a good fight.
Majority of us were actually surprised to see Aston Villa reached this stage in champions league considering how poor they have been doing in the premier League this season. However, as far as they have reached this stage, I don't think we can easily write them against PSG like that. I remember how we all underrate PSG against Liverpool but everything turned out the other way around. Quite alright, PSG seems stronger than Aston Villa from every angle but the champions league or football in its entirety is full of wonders where you'll see the underdog teams eliminating the supposed favourites teams. In as much as PSG remains the favourite to win here, I won't be surprised if Aston Villa turn things opposite.
