I wish I could state it has been some time since I last read a post such as this but unfortunately unnecessary melodramatic posts are spread across the forum.
Had you not posted about using every tool imaginable against Sportsbet in order to get your coins (and just posted here instead), you would have had the moral higher ground. Your reaction is premature.
There could be several reasons why you did not receive your coins. Though you have made up your mind, the rest of us will probably wait for Sportsbet representatives to post here before jumping to conclusions.
What I’ll do next:
First, I’ll file a complaint with Curaçao eGaming. Of course, they probably won’t do anything, but I can also report the case to the Dutch Gambling Authority. Curaçao is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. We’ll see if they respond to that.
I will report the case to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net). From what I’ve found out, Sportsbet.io does not hold gambling licenses in EU countries and is violating general EU consumer protection laws (e.g., lack of transparency, deceptive practices).
I can also report the case to the European Commission and OLAF – the European Anti-Fraud Office.
I will also start contacting all the people who had issues with Sportsbet.io, there are hundreds of such cases online, which forms a strong basis to escalate the matter to Europol.
Let’s see if their actions will really pay off.
