Most football fans didn't actually doubt him, infact most of us knew he would perform well because Bayern Munich is an already made team, coaches really don't need to do much for the success to start coming and showing. His Burnley team were no match for most teams in the EPL that's why he struggled. If you remember before Kompany's Burnley team qualified for the EPL, in the Championship they were rocking it like no mans business, Kompany was already making his name with a team that wasn't really a good match for most teams in the Championship then. But he surprised most of us back then that's why when he picked the Bayern Munich job, we knew sooner or later he was going to strive with the team.
A lot of people doubted him because they feel he will not be able to manage the club and his doing perfectly well and even if bayern is an already made club they still need to be managed well if not they wont be able to acomplish anything this season and you can not compare somes past and present because the future the person will always want to get better and this is first season so making the fans proud and kompany is taking is job very seriously, and kompany wanted a good record for him self and this is why is doing everything inhis power to bring the club to success and for now his still on track and for some time now even bayern have been maintening a very good postion and even leverkusen is not close even with all the effort they are trying to put in place they still can not over the throne bayern for now.
