Nigeria has always been good but lack that consistency and this has been the main reason for the change of coach. The game today was good but we could do better and score more. I hope we can continue winning and then be in a better position to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, the fact that we didn't make it to the 2022 World Cup was really disappointing even while having a squad that such task wouldn't be that difficult for them to fulfil.
Despite not being able to win a single game in their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign before today's win away at Rwanda, I've always maintained that the Super Eagles of Nigeria posseses the best squad in Africa in terms of quality of players but were struggling to win games because poor tactical approach from the club former coaches. Their performance today against Rwanda was impressive but looking at the depth in the Nigeria squad, they have all it takes to get even a better result. They host Zimbabwe on Tuesday at the God'swill Akpabio stadium in Uyo and I strongly believe they'll also win that one to increase their chances of qualifying for the next edition of the FIFA World Cup in 2026
