The impressive performance shown throughout this season had raised hopes, especially among fans, of Liverpool success in achieving a treble winner, but small mistakes in the UCL and other domestic competitions have now dashed those hopes.
It must be admitted that their level of success is incomplete, but the EPL Trophy would be an achievement to be proud of for their consistency and dominance in the EPL throughout this season.
Liverpool's final exit is impressive for me. They even lost the match to a team in a weaker position and were eliminated from the league. The Champions League exit was heartbreaking for every football fan. They probably never expected that Liverpool would play with dominance all season and lose to PSG in the round of 16 and be eliminated from the league. I expected them to make the semi-finals or the final. After the Champions League exit, they also failed to win the EFL League. They unexpectedly lost 2-1 to Newcastle in the EFL final. Their mistakes at the end are preventing them from achieving great things. Their last hope now is the Premier League. I think they might be able to win the Premier League title.
