Liverpool players were really fatigued after their UCL clash and even in the match against Newcastle, they weren't really at their best and barely holding on, while Newcastle were bubbling with energy and trashed them without pity or caution.

It's also notable that they're 12 points away from an obviously weaker Arsenal team, but it's not a criteria to relax since the season isn't over yet and there's still about 9 matches to go. It's important to note that Arsenal is only 4 wins behind them. I like to think the season is not yet over until the trophy is handed over to them. They've a chance, but they must protect it.
That's right. And Newcastle was able to take advantage of it which played a significant role in their victory in the fa cup finals. That said, there are still 27 points up for grabs with 9 matches left in the season. While Arsenal can theoretically win all their matches it's unlikely they will overtake Liverpool who are in a strong position to lift the Premier League throphy. With their consistency, Liverpool remains the favourite, especially given their ability to grind out results in crucial moments.
I agree completely with the both of you, with 12 points ahead of Arsenal's 58 total earned points, personally, I would say that this is as good as saying that Liverpool has managed to win this season's premier league title, and it's not too early to begin to celebrate them regardless of the fact that they still have 9 matches to play before the final result is decided, but I also understand the saying that it's not yet over until it's completely over.

Arsenal and the rest of the club behind arent playing up to the standard at which the Liverpool team have played or are playing, but then, I under the other user who said they must protect what they have achieved so far less it slips away from them, but here, I see little to no chance of this happening anyway, since there is no way Arsenal will even win all their remaining games and Liverpool loss all their remaining games as well.
