What makes a great leader?
courage = the leader face the matter at hand,
speaking their minds about their duties and that
of the others.
+integrity = doing the required even in
absence of the people
+communication = the ability to communicate
(speaking and listening) what is being done
and what needs to be done.
In the true sense of what consists being a great leader, those three characteristics match accurately.
However, in order to have a great leader, it's necessary to have a great society to be led as well. Otherwise, the individual with great potential to be a decent leader won't even have the chance to do so, as he will be despised by the masses.
Isn't thay what we have been seeing nowadays? Ethical, honest and capable individuals being ignored and removed from the spotlights, while the manipulative, deceiving and cunning ones are idolized by society, becoming their leaders. Just look to the main countries of the world and this simple fact will be evident.
In our current time there isn't space for great leaders to rise. But from the chaos the wicked leaders of our time are creating, there is hope society changes its mindset and finally demands a great leader to take place.
