It may not matter a whole hell of a lot if you buy the dip or not, especially if you might be receiving an income every week, and then there can be questions about the extent to which you hold back some of your discretionary income in order to wait for price dips that may or may not end up happening.  Waiting for price dips likely puts a bitcoin investor in a wrong mentality, even  though surely there could be some psychological pleasure that comes from holding back some value for dips... while recognizing and appreciating that the dips may or may not end up happening.
The price of Bitcoin of a truth is very unpredictable but considering the past events in the Bitcoin market, buying Bitcoin when there's a dip have in most times been very profitable to investors. It's important for investors to have it at the back of their minds that buying dips doesn't guarantee profits but the truth is that it's more advantageous than buying when the market is experiencing uptrend movement in price. In as much as I agree with you that waiting for dips have it's own mental pressures I also want you to come to terms with the fact that it's better to always buy dips than buying when the market is on the high. Buying dips to me will always be the perfect moments of investing in Bitcoin and unless the market leaves me with results to think otherwise, I'll continue to stick with that
It seems that before you registered on this forum, you had a mentor who told you that buying the dip is the right strategy for a no coiner or newbie into bitcoin to use and be accumulating bitcoin, which made you have a strong conviction that buying the dip is the only strategy that is suitable for you in accumulating bitcoin. Buying the dip is good, and it easily gives investors a better profit than buying bitcoin at a peak, but since you are still a no coiner or a newbie who is just starting his bitcoin investment, the buying the dip strategy is not relevant for you to adopt because the chance of you accumulating a reasonable amount of bitcoin is less, and you will be less active in accumulating bitcoin since nobody is sure if a dip will happen today or tomorrow. Even though you must buy the dip at some point during your accumulation journey, you have to be accumulating bitcoin with the DCA strategy first so that it will give the opportunity to consistently accumulate bitcoin no matter what the price of bitcoin will be and give the opportunity to gradually increase your bitcoin portfolio, and if a dip happens during your accumulation journey and you have enough liquidity that will comfortably allow you to buy the dip, you can buy the dip and benefit from the market.

Buy the dip and buying at the peak, If what is considered to be a peak price will some day be seen as a dip I think it doesn't really make much of the difference for an investor with the intention of buying and holding for long term, it may sound misleading to say that buying Bitcoin easily gives investors a better profit than buying at a peak because buying the dip and the profit margin when the market recovers is is not the main purpose why investors buys the dip but simply because the dip offers buying more Bitcoin cheaper with the same amount of money use to buy from previous highs.
How you would considered out peak? If ever you have decided on taking up some short term profits? This is where some people do missed out on taking up such steps on securing their profits at the moment that Bitcoins price do hit up a particular level. They will always be thinking that we might be able to break up some new all time highs on which this will be that the primary thing that comes up into your mind when it comes into this one. For the question about if its late to buy Bitcoin? These are people who do think that the current price is already at peak or already that high. They would be always having those doubts that the current price is already that premium or oversold on which they've been waiting up for the price to dump before entering.

The case on here is that whenever they do made out such act then the price continues to shoot up on which this will be that resulting for them to have those impressions that they should have bought earlier and wont be able to missed up that potential profit. This is the usual case that do really happens.  Undecided
