With the recent rise in gambling activities especially even among the elderly those seen as elders who supposed to be advising the younger generations about the genders of gambling getting involved in related activities, infact if you enters a local gambling shop in my country you will not no an elder from a youth because you see elders also engaging in gambling especially virtually sport betting.
So am asking the forum what do you think is the cause of the rise in gambling related activities in our society is it due to bad economic situation or simply addiction?

If I relate this to the question in our country today, I think it is because of the youtube influencers who promote gambling online, especially on Facebook, the promotion is rampant and reckless because even minor children can watch it, so it is not surprising that online gambling is spreading quickly today.
Especially now that almost all people here in our country use cellphones and browse facebook apps on their gadgets. And besides this, because of the poverty of life,
the squatter community is also learning to gamble online in casinos.
One of the main cons of todays social media and video streams on which there's always that potential way on dealing up into something on which they've been able to see online.
Like this one on which it do pertains about gambling on which making up some easy money, despite on living poverty then once people do get curious then they will be still finding out ways
for them to gamble even if it means that the money being spent do came from loan or borrowed one. Desperation on getting out from poverty will be the main driver.
