In my local dialect it is said that "what money can't do too much money can do it". I think aside buying power more money has a way of giving us spontaneous joy whenever we just divert our mind to how much we have presently compared to what was in stash yesterday.
In the case of macro level that's where the pumping of more money into the economy has a negative implications on the value of a country's currency. Not sure about the individual level of having more money as by way of working hard for it.
Naturally the value attached to money is on an all time high, having enough does bring a sense of joy with it when compared with not have enough, more money being pumped into the economy is a way to save it if the economy is down, after all the higher the value, the higher the worth.
Money isn't the first to receive such value, in the times of gold as a legal tender (a means of exchange) such high attachments were given to it because it was the means to access and own whatever property or service.
Money brings comfort, security and privileges that the lack or insufficiency of it can't provide you, and this with many reasons could have triggered the rising quest for money in human history
The love of money is the root of all evil

The energy behind money is very high that it can make you or destroy you.
Be careful when choosing the way of making the money because source of money plays vital role in humanity.
Money gotten off illegal way damages human than the ones gotten off a legitimate work.
Be extremely careful because you might be doing something by loosing your soul for devil just for money leaving you empty on earth, that's why the Bible says "what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world and loose his soul"
What benefit would you have by getting the wealth in excess and be unhappy all through the life, even after your death, your descendants suffered because of your sins by selling off all your properties left.
It's vital to focus on getting kingdom wealth than wealth from the devil, wealth from God lasts forever and gives you peace of mind, everlasting joy and happiness.
The love of money IS the root of all evil, not the money itself, having money is wrong, the source of the wealth is what can be questioned no how much you have but the SOURCE, people need to understand that while chasing money, the can lose themselves in the process, no one should push to make money at the direct expense of another, try not to do to others what you wouldn't want them to do to you.
Same source stated it that "money answers all things", so why are some of us confusing it or interpreting it as though having so much much is wrong and some kind of a sacrilege. In that you're making your money in the right way having it in large quantity as you can afford to isn't a wrong doing.
