Chelsea's performance in the 2022-23 season was very poor. We saw Chelsea in 13th place in the points table, which was a very bad season for Chelsea fans. However, Chelsea is in a very good position this season. Chelsea is currently in 4th place in the points table. However, Chelsea's performance is not consistent. It is not yet certain whether Chelsea will be able to qualify for the Champions League.
I don't think Chelsea's squad is very strong. Compared to Arsenal and Liverpool, Chelsea will be far behind. I would say that this season, the Chelsea coach should take the necessary steps to strengthen Chelsea's defense. If the defense is strong, Chelsea's overall performance will be more stable.
There fall began when Tuchel was replaced by Graham Potter, everything about the club was just like they are moving from bad to worse everytime they try, betting on them can only be possible to win only if you select they are going to lose and even that, the odd of having such as win is like 1.2 because bookies knows they ar going to lose. The worst of it was when Lampard took over as the care taker to the players, everything went from bad to worse.
My fear now is Manchester United is transgressing to that part already. We all thought Erik was bad for the players and now Amorim has come and it looks like man is just try to put the players together and everything is falling apart. A club that used to be the best is now trying so hard to remain relevant and running away from relegation is one of the biggest embarrassment but I hope they get this come back like Chelsea is having, they might not be the best yet but fair and better.
