There are a lot of posts on this forum about how we should protect our assets and not to share our private key and seed phrase with anyone, not even our loved ones. Even when I read about these things online, I always read that our seed is meant to be kept private, which leads me to have the same thought as you.
Are people really aware of unforeseen circumstances? What if something happens to you? Who will be able to handle your assets when you're no longer there?
Life doesn't give us the foresight of what's next to happen and which makes it hard for me to think that I should be too extreme with my assets and investments that not even a single member of my family should have an iota of knowledge about key information that could lead to recovery of them should any uncertain circumstance happen to me in a flash.
Like, which is better. Not letting anyone of a family member (son, wife or daughter) have a clue about your keys location in case of sudden death and then lose it all eventually to your family or to have one trusted person on the know who can recover your assets in case of death. Let everybody choose.
