New Camp Nou, having Messi back. Am I the only one seeing that Barcelona is seeking to use Messi to generate more money more than having a high quality player. I mean Messi is one of the best players in the world and he is still good even though he is getting old and so on. A team with wise management trying to secure the future of the team for the next 10 years will try to give their players a chance to improve, recruit young talented players, not try to recruit again an old player, with respect to Messi career..
I also believe Barcelona would make a huge profit if they sign Lionel Messi. This strategy not only celebrates him as an icon but also helps  generate significant revenue for the club. However, I think it would be wiser for the club to focus on investing in young and promising talent to improve their long term performance rather than signing older players who are past their prime .
Messi will not make it to the first eleven if brought back to Barcelona, on himself he knows that can't happen in every game. Messi as a legend doesn't need more time on the pitch, he might be far better than an average joe but if the team are considering bringing him back, that won't be with desire to win trophies with him but rather to generate more income for the club, it will be another big turnover for them to make profits, many jerseys will be sold out far more than in history, stadiums will be well packed.
