Yeah right, but the thing is, first position is mathematically still in contention although it's quite impossible to achieve. I don't see the possibility of Liverpool losing 6 games in the remaining 9 matches and Arsenal winning at least 7 games out of the remaining 9 matches in total because that's the only way Arsenal can win the league. Liverpool will definitely win the league, the points difference puts them at that advantage.
Liverpool can lose it's first position only if they show worst performance in there upcoming matches, which is not possible because Liverpool has lost just one game this season. Even if Liverpool lose 6 or more of it's remaining matches then Arsenal has to win almost all of it's remaining games, which won't be a piece of cake.
One main reason why Liverpool is Champions-Elect is that they are now out from all other leagues and there sole focus is now on winning EPL title. Arsenal once again has to bear second position in EPL if they play well in remaining games. The points gap between Arsenal and Nottingham is of just 4 points.
The point I made was that Liverpool are not yet Champions mathematically. Again being out of all possible competitions isn't even a guarantee that you will win it. There are teams that are in all competitions currently and they are still top of their domestic league.
