Bitcoin still has to reach any kind of mass adoption, right now only a minimal part of the world population uses bitcoin for actual transaction. And it's actually switching from currency to store of value so I don't know, should we be happy? Bitcoin was supposed to replace the dollar, the euro, etc, instead is becoming digital gold which is not a bad thing but at the same time that was not the original plan.

You've got that right! A large number of the world's population still hasn't heard about or used Bitcoin before. Part of this has to do with limited Internet access in some areas, and lack of government acceptance. We're still in the early days. Of course, some people will keep complaining about Bitcoin because they'll never be satisfied.

The biggest issue facing BTC right now is increased centralization. This is a concern to many early Bitcoin adopters like myself. Not only that, but BTC moved away from being used as "digital cash" to "digital gold". I'm not saying Bitcoin itself moved away from its intended purpose, but rather people decided to give it a different use. I think we should blame the mainstream media for this. It's been spreading propaganda that Bitcoin is the world's next store of value. Because of this, many people consider Bitcoin as an investment tool to "get rich quick". I'm afraid altcoins will end up being used as "digital cash". Let's hope Bitcoin remains decentralized and censorship-resistant forever. Smiley
