Now it is official, Juventus has exonerated its coach Thiago Motta for the recent scarce results of the team, in his place there will be the ferryman Igor Tudor to whom the team will be entrusted until June with an option for a further year if he had to hit the goals set by the management.
If this does not happen the next coach will most likely be Roberto Mancini.
As an interista I am very sorry for Thiago Motta, he had done a good job, too bad! He didn't have enough time and in my opinion he would have found the right set -up to the team
I really feel bad for Thiago motta, he was doing absolutely very well at bologna before juventus offer came and left for juventus and now they just sack him even before the season end. For me I feel he did a good job at juventus, maintaining top 4 with such a group, a team who lack quality, a team who don’t even have enough squad depth. I wish him well in his coaching career and I know some clubs might seek his services soon.
Igor Tudor have taken over till the reminder of the season and if they are impressed with his services he will be given contract to continue, and if they are not Roberto mancini will be considered. I still believe juventus have a lot of work to do especially the stake holders. Let see how they will cope till the end of the season.
I hope Igor Tudor can maintain the top 4 with this squad. Thiago did a good job to put them there, I hope his work isn’t spoilt by another man.
I share the same thoughts as you. I feel that Juventus did the best thing to fire Motta because the club is losing its momentum and before you know it, they might go down the table. However, hiring Igor Tudor is not a guarantee that he can maintain the fourth position till the end of the season.
What do you expect the management of a club that is as big as Juventus not being sure if they can make it to the Champions League after two consecutive humiliations by clubs that they're stronger than in previous seasons. A change of coach will be the only option, because it seems Motta is not getting it right in Juventus.
